About the Council

What is the SoFi Real Estate Advisory Council?

The SoFi Real Estate Advisory Council is a group of curated top real estate professionals and industry leaders, hand selected to provide insight, feedback, and thought leadership to help shape the future of homeownership.

What does it mean to be selected as a real estate industry professional?

Selection is recognition of influence, expertise, and leadership in the real estate space. Chosen council members are selected to help shape strategy at a national level and are awarded for their participation in various ways.

Is this a paid role?

While this is not a salaried position, members receive access, exposure, and opportunities that are designed to elevate their business and personal brand.

How long does the council last?

This is a 12 month commitment - the structure will be outlined further during our Council onboarding in Nashville, TN on April 21, 2026.

Role & Expectations

What is expected of me as a council member?

Members are expected to:

- Attend the in-person onboarding event in Nashville (April 21 at 2-5pm)

- Create and share content aligned with the initiative

- Participate in a monthly roundtable mastermind

- Provide feedback and insights when requested

- Engage with the council community

How much time will this require?

Time commitment is designed to be respectful of your schedule, with one monthly meeting and optional engagement opportunities.

Do I need to create content?

Yes - creating content about your journey as a member of the Council is a key part of the program, although it is not required. You will receive guidance, various videos, and help in creating the content. The goal is authentic, organic sharing with your audience and community.

Will I be required to promote SoFi?

This is not a traditional sponsorship. The focus is on collaboration and insight, not scripted promotion.

Nashville Onboarding Event

When and where is the event?

The in-person onboarding event will take place in Nashville on April 21 from 2-5pm.

Is attendance required?

Yes - this event is a core part of your onboarding and council experience.

What should I expect at the event?

Official onboarding into the council

- Strategic discussions and collaboration

- Networking with fellow council members

- A clear roadmap of what’s ahead

- A structured agenda with a defined end time (to accommodate travel)

Is there an after-party or additional events?

Yes - there will be an after-party! The SoFi x Inman Kick Off Event will From 6pm-8pm on April 21 in the same space as your onboarding.

Attendance at Inman Connect is not required. If you would like to attend, we have arranged for a discounted rate for Advisory Council Members using this link.

Travel & Accommodations

Will travel be covered?

Yes - flight and hotel expenses will be reimbursed by SoFi for up to $500 for your flight and up to $400 for your accommodations.

Do I book my own travel?

Yes - please book your travel and submit for reimbursement per the provided guidelines.

Is there a hotel block?

No - our suggested hotels are the AC Hotel Nashville Downtown and Residence Inn by Marriott Nashville Downtown/Convention Center. You will be reimbursed up to $400 for your hotel accommodations.

When should I arrive and depart?

Plan to arrive in time for the start of the event on April 21 at 2pm and ends at 5pm. Our onboarding takes place the day before Inman Nashville.

Will there be a schedule I can add to my calendar?

Yes - a calendar link will be provided for easy subscription.

What should I wear?

Please come dressed as if you're going to show a home - whatever that looks like for you personally, that's how we want to see you!

Note: Headshots for our roster and videos will be taken of you during the event. DO NOT wear green.

How do I connect with other members?

You are invited to join our private community to connect, collaborate, and communicate.

Will there be regular meetings?

Yes - there will be recurring virtual touchpoints to keep momentum and collaboration strong.

Who do I contact if I have questions?

A dedicated SoFi contact list will be provided.

Content & Brand Participation

Will I receive a creator brief?

Yes - you’ll receive a detailed creator brief outlining content opportunities and guidelines.

Can I share my participation publicly?

Yes - once onboarding begins, you’ll be encouraged to share your involvement.

Are there brand guidelines?

Yes - we will share the guidelines to ensure consistency while still allowing your authentic voice.
